At D.Y.A. International University, our Examination and Evaluation System is not merely a mechanism to test memory. It is a multidimensional framework designed to assess academic understanding, skill application, ethical conduct, and real-world contribution. In alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, we have established an outcome-based, flexible, and student-centric assessment system that reflects both academic achievement and performance-based outcomes.

1️⃣ Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) – 30% to 40% Weightage

Conducted throughout the semester to keep students consistently engaged and assessed across multiple dimensions.

• Peer Reviews & Participation
• Work-integrated Task Submissions
(Earning certificates, freelance project snapshots, startup logs, etc.)

2️⃣ End-Semester Examination – 60% to 70% Weightage

Held at the end of each semester for all core and elective subjects. The format varies by discipline and may include:

• Written theoretical exams (descriptive/objective mix)
• Practical/lab-based evaluations
• Viva voce and project demonstrations
• Digital exams via LMS (for online/distance modules)

💼 Work-Integrated Assessment Model

This is a signature innovation of D.Y.A. International University. Students earn credits or marks for:

• Completed internships or freelance assignments
• Documented income from digital platforms
• Startup business models developed in the incubation cell
• Contributions to community/field projects linked to the curriculum
• Online course certifications or micro-credentials earned independently

All of the above are graded and integrated into a student’s performance record under Earn & Learn Performance Grades.

🛡️ Fairness & Transparency Measures

• All exams are conducted under the Code of Examination Ethics, with zero tolerance for malpractice.
• Rechecking, revaluation, and improvement options are available to students upon request.
• An Examination Grievance Redressal Committee handles all academic complaints within 10 working days.
• Students can track marks, grades, and progress through the secure Online Student Portal.

📥 Digital Access and Support

• Students receive digital admit cards and access their hall tickets online.
• Remote students appear for exams via our AI-supported Online Proctoring System (OPS).
• All question papers, attendance, and performance records are archived digitally.
• Final mark sheets and transcripts include earning credits and experiential learning reflections.

🎓 Certification & Degree Awarding

At the time of graduation, each student receives:

• Degree/Certificate with academic CGPA
• Earned credit summary (showing total projects/income contributions)
• Internship & project evaluation reports
• Soft copy transcript with authentication code (QR/link)

This ensures that each D.Y.A. graduate is not only qualified academically but is also recognised for practical and economic achievements made during their educational journey.
