Academic Rules & Guidelines

1. Attendance Policy
- Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in all subjects to be eligible for examinations.
- Medical leave or approved absence must be supported with valid documents.
- Attendance shortage may lead to disqualification from the final examination.
2. Examination Conduct
- Students must carry their valid ID cards and admit cards to all exams.
- Use of unfair means during examinations will lead to strict disciplinary action.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.
3. Academic Integrity
- Plagiarism, cheating, or fabrication of data in any form will not be tolerated.
- All submitted work must be original and properly referenced.
- Violations of academic integrity may result in suspension or expulsion.
4. Grading and Evaluation
- Evaluation includes internal assessments, practicals, and final exams.
- Grading follows the credit-based system defined by the university.
- Students have the right to apply for revaluation as per the Revaluation Policy.
5. Code of Conduct
- Students must uphold discipline and respect within the university premises.
- Ragging, harassment, or any form of misconduct will result in expulsion.
- Proper decorum must be maintained during academic and extracurricular events.
6. Library and Laboratory Rules
- Library resources must be used responsibly; late return fines apply.
- Food and drinks are not allowed inside library or labs.
- Laboratory safety instructions must be strictly followed at all times.
7. Research and Project Work
- Students undertaking research must adhere to ethical and scientific standards.
- Projects should be guided by approved faculty supervisors.
- Unauthorized copying or duplication of work will result in cancellation.
8. Dress Code and Conduct
- Students are expected to dress appropriately and neatly on campus.
- Professional attire is mandatory during presentations and university functions.
- Disruptive behavior will lead to disciplinary action.
9. Use of University Property
- University infrastructure should be respected and used with care.
- Any damage caused intentionally will be charged to the student responsible.
- Unauthorized access to restricted areas is prohibited.
10. Grievance Redressal
- Students may submit academic grievances to the Academic Affairs Office.
- A formal grievance committee addresses complaints with confidentiality.
- Decisions made by the committee are final and binding.
